Successful Letting of Rose and Crown in Sutton on the Forest
Barry Crux and Company are delighted to announce the re-opening of the Rose and Crown in Sutton on the Forest. Acting on behalf of the owners the property was marketed for letting and a lease has now been completed.
The well presented village of Sutton is about eight miles north of York and is a popular commuter location, and with a strong community. The village has been very keen to see the Rose and Crown re-open for trading, for some time. A traditional village inn the Rose and Crown has also been a very good eating house going back over many years. It retains a cosy local’s bar, together with a lounge bar which also serves for a dining space. In addition there is a further dining area and a conservatory restaurant. Outside there is a spacious trading area complemented by a gazebo providing excellent external facilities.
There is also a large grassed beer garden which overlooks the village playing field.
The new tenants are Malcolm and Eileen Goodwin who have a first class reputation and extensive experience in the licensed trade having run several outlets in the York area over a number of years. They have carried out a refurbishment of the property including some re-fitting.
We wish malcolm and Eileen well for this new venture of theirs.
