Ferguson Fawsitt, Walkington Completion
Barry Crux & Company are delighted to be able to announce the successful letting of the Ferguson Fawsitt, Walkington after a marketing campaign. A new lease has been agreed on behalf of the Landlords, this being granted to a well-established licensee from Beverley.
Allen Slinger will be known to many as the successful Landlord of the Tiger in Beverley town centre, from which he has operated for a number of years, with a very successful food offering complementing his wet sales. The Ferguson Fawsitt is a somewhat larger operation, but Mr. Slinger will bring a fresh impetus and enthusiasm to this well known and popular outlet, when he re-opens.
The Ferguson Fawsitt is situated to the centre of the very popular village of Walkington, although it does attract trade from a wide area. It has the benefit of a Lounge Bar, Locals Bar, Lounge, Snug, Games Room/Lounge, and an area latterly used as a Coffee Shop. In addition, there is a spacious Function Room which has in the past operated as a more formal Restaurant setting. This is a very adaptable space, and can be used for formal dining, functions, weddings and events and the like. The outlet has the benefit of a spacious car park, as well as external seating areas. Moreover, the whole property is complemented by having spacious managers/proprietors living space.
