Mairs Delicatessen Sale of hugely successful Deli and Cafe business
Barry Crux & Company is pleased to announce completion of the sale of “Mairs Delicatessen”.
The long-established Deli, café and sandwich shop, which is prominently situated in the heart of the densely populated suburb of Heworth in York, has been under the ownership of Eric and Lynda Mair for over 20 years. They have built up a renowned reputation for the wide range of produce they have on offer, with their sandwiches in particular becoming firm favourites with numerous regular customers throughout York.
The premises have a café area to the front of the property with the main deli and serving area to the rear. Additionally, the business benefits from an outside seating area to the front, a kitchen, store room and a rear enclosed and covered yard.
Having built up the business to become the successful venture it is today, the vendors decided it was the right time to sell and move on to pastures new. Best of luck to Eric and Lynda!
The business has been purchased by Karen Inglis and Liz Kay, who personally has a great deal of catering experience. We wish them every success as they take over “Mairs Deli”.
