Sale of extremely popular real ale pub in Knaresborough
Barry Crux & Company are pleased to announce the completion of the sale of Blind Jacks in Knaresborough.
The extremely popular and well-known real ale pub in the centre of the busy market town of Knaresborough, in a prominent position in the Market Place. It was set up by a well-known entrepreneur, Ralph Wilkinson around 25 years ago, and has been an iconic public house, famed for its promotion of high quality cask conditioned ales, and attracting custom over an extremely wide area.
The business has been purchased by local couple Christian Ogley and fiancée Alice Bennett who already operate a successful café-bistro in the town.
The couple plan to bring a new and exciting food offering to the people of Knaresborough, and plan to enhance and revamp parts of the establishment. Although they are keen to retain aspects of the décor in keeping with the historic nature of the building.
With Knaresborough being where the couple have grown up, it is clear that the town is held close to their hearts.
The Freehold has been sold off an asking price of £325,000.
