"Love To Eat" – Sale of Popular York Cafe
Barry Crux & Company is pleased to announce completion of the sale of “Love to Eat”.
The café, which is situated in the heart of Dringhouses, was established by the vendor Louise Brogan-Hewitt in 2010 and has become a popular place for locals to meet and enjoy the wide range of excellent home-made produce on offer.
The café occupies a ground floor unit offering circa 20 covers with additional outside seating.
The business also benefits from an established outside catering arm which provides for a wide range of events including private parties, weddings and corporate entertaining.
Having built up the business from scratch to become the successful venture it is today, the vendor decided it was the right time to sell and pursue other interests.
The business has been purchased by local lady, Fiona Mackenzie, and we wish her every success as she takes over “Love To Eat”. Fiona is committed to providing the same high levels of service in the local community, but is also keen to bring new and fresh ideas to the Café, so please do contact her if you have any ideas to drive Love to Eat forward.
