Sale of City Centre Bar & Bistro
Barry Crux & Company is pleased to announce completion of the sale of Masons, the popular bar and bistro situated on Fossgate.
The business occupies Grade II listed premises which retain many original features and provide cosy and comfortable surroundings for diners and drinkers alike.
Over recent years, Fossgate has become a popular “foodie” destination in the city centre and the street now offers a vibrant mix of independent cafes, bars, bistros and restaurants.
Having opened Masons in 2009 and established a successful business, owner Dennis Peacock decided to sell Masons in order to concentrate on other business interests in the catering industry.
Salem Khalifa, the new owner, will be opening “Marzano” (an Italian restaurant) soon and we wish him every success in his new venture.
