Sale of Landmark Riverside Property in York
Barry Crux & Company is delighted to announce completion of the sale of River House, one of York’s landmark buildings occupying a prestigious location on Museum Street and overlooking the River Ouse and Lendal Bridge.
The Grade II listed building, which retains many of its original architectural features, is leased to Pizza Express at ground and basement levels and offers a further 5,685 sq ft of vacant office accommodation over the three upper floors.
River House has been sold for an undisclosed sum by a local family property company who owned the building for many years.
Rosie Crux, the surveyor who negotiated the sale, said “River House is such an iconic building in York and the opportunity to be involved with it for many years has been a real privilege.”
