Sale of Popular City Centre Restaurant
Barry Crux & Company is delighted to announce completion of the sale of Silvano’s Restaurant.
Silvano’s is a spacious 116 cover restaurant occupying a prominent 2,816 sq.ft unit on Micklegate.
Mr Silvano Scanu, a well-known local restaurant operator who has been serving the delights of Italian food in York for many years, opened Silavno’s Pizzeria & Ristorante on Micklegate in 2010. Having decided the time is now right for a new project, Mr Scanu asked Barry Crux & Company to sell the business.
The restaurant, which is appointed to a high standard and specification, benefits from the addition of a bar servery. It offers an excellent operation and one which could easily be adapted to suit a variety of catering establishments.
The restaurant has been purchased by Richard Beal of Sutlers on Fossgate and has now opened as Vaquerios, a Brazilian restaurant.
The lease, business goodwill and fixtures and fittings were sold off an asking price of £225,000.
The successful completion of this restaurant sale demonstrates that locally based agents like Barry Crux & Company continue to be very active in our city and is further evidence that local business owners prefer to entrust important business and property deals to local agents.
