Sale of Prominent City Centre Cafe & Snack Bar
Barry Crux & Company is delighted to announce completion of the sale of Bells of York on Parliament Street.
The long established café and snack bar occupies a prominent corner position on Parliament Street within the prime retailing pitch in York city centre and, as such, enjoys excellent levels of footfall.
The business benefits from an inside café area and also an outside seating area which is popular with locals and tourists alike.
The business has been sold by Stuart and Elaine Bell who will continue to run the sister business “Bells of York” café and outside catering business on Low Ousegate.
Roberto Culivicchi, who opened “Roberto’s Authentic Italian Gelato” on Goodramgate in April 2015, has purchased the business and lease and will open his second Italian ice cream shop in the coming months.
The lease, business goodwill and fixtures and fittings were sold off an asking price of £65,000.
