Unit 1 Micklegate – Disposal of Lease
Barry Crux & Company has acted jointly with agents Rapleys on behalf of Booker Retail in relation to the surrender of their lease of Unit 1 Micklegate (the former Budgens convenience store).
The prominent 4,700 sq ft unit which is situated on the corner of Micklegate and George Hudson Street has stood empty for some time since Budgens closed.
The surrender of the lease has made way for a new retailer to occupy the premises and further details will be made public in due course. The re-opening of a key retail unit is positive news for the city centre and for Micklegate in particular.
